The trial of Naira Marley stalled, as lawyers’ quarrel over seat.

The trial of Naira Marley at the Federal High Court in Lagos adjourned till December 11th and 12th following a heated argument over space to seat in the court this morning.

Upon resumption of the trial for ‘hearing’ today October 24th, but due to inadequate seats for the lawyers stalled court proceeding on the matter as the counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Rotimi Oyedepo and that of Naira Marley, Olalekan Ojo, SAN, other senior lawyers couldn’t hide their anger over the inadequacy of seats in the court room.

Things escalated to the point that the presiding jduge, Justice Nicholas Oweibo intervened, pleading with the lawyers to bear with the government on that, and subsequently adjourned the case to December.
