I said it before, this 2020 should be deleted- Uche Nnadozie writes a touching tribute to late Dan Foster.

The 2020 is indeed one whose memories will hardly exit humanity, permanently. The tales must sure, be passed down from one generation to the other. And sadly, the tales must be filled with teary and heartbreaking memories.

And once again, the year has stung again, with one of it's deadly and venomous tentacles. This time, it is the turn of veteran radio personality, Show host and one of the greatest pioneers of the present day 'American accent' filled radio programmes, Mr. Don Foster, who passed away yesterday, June 17, 2020.
It is this unfortunate moment that has forced Uche Nnadozie to write this highly emotional tribute to the late broadcaster, whom he described as the transformer of radio business in the country. Praising him also for breeding a generation of exceptional radio talents.

Uche equally wished the year (2020) could just be deleted, because of the sad, heartbreaking and bitter memories that have flooded the year, especially with the deadly Corona Virus, sweeping across the world.

Continuing, Uche lavished words on the late radio personality, for the way he transformed the business in this part of the world, while turning talents into stars and stars into Superstars.
In his exact words: "...but he was not "forming", he was an American~ who was proud of being in Nigeria. Indeed he became one with us. Very proud of our culture and all in- between.

He changed radio forever. His morning shows redefined what we once knew. Indeed his Sunday morning gospel show became the standard. The flag!
He helped mould many talents into stars and stars into superstars. You can name them. His humor, jokes, and everything made radio such a joy.

It's a pity 2020 won't just go away. A year that seems like a decade?! I once said it should be deleted.
May comfort abide with your family and light shine as you walk peace. Amen!"

It's indeed a sad one. May God grant him eternal rest, Amen!!
