Gyration master, Tony Oneweek gets a new appointment from Governor Willie Obianor

Veteran Nigerian singer and entertainer, Tony Oneweek has just been appointed by Governor Willie Obianor of Anambra State as one of his special advisers.

Tone Oneweek will serve as the special adviser to the Governor on Diaspora Affairs, indigenous arts, culture and tourism. The two time member of the Anambra State House of Assembly was sworn-in on June 29, 2020.
In his acceptance speech, Tony Oneweek wrote: "Governor Willie Obianor has given me the opportunity to utilize my 20 years entertainment industry experience to help boost culture and tourism, create jobs and generate revenue for Anambra State. So help me God."

In continuation, the veteran entertainer wrote: "Thanking God for today's successful swearing-in ceremony. I signed and swore to serve Anambra state as Special Adviser to HE the executive Governor Chief Willie Obiano, Akpokuedike Aguleri on Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Arts, Culture and Tourism to the very best of my ability."
"From the office of the amiable and indefatigable SSG Chief Solo Chukwulobelu (Ezenwammadu), I proceeded for an introductory meeting with the Honorable Commissioner Dr Madubuko (Agbogidi) and the principal officers of the Ministry. Work has started in ernest to the glory of God and benefit of Anambra state. Olu ebidosia."
Tony Oneweek was well known as the "Gyration Master" during his active days in the music industry. He had many hit tracks to his credit back then, which placed him on the top level in the entertainment industry.
